The development of the border fence between the U.S. and Mexico continues. As was to be expected the Department of Homeland Security has decided they can't/won't/shouldn't abide by environmental laws. Consequently, this fence is going to fracture habitats, disrupt communities and disturb peoples homes and lives.
Instead of engaging in an open dialog and focusing on how to truly solve the immigration issues that the U.S. faces the Bush administration continues to proceed with their my solution trumps all attitude.
Write the president, your congressional representatives, and Senators, contact your state and local government and ask them to stop the U.S. government from putting up walls!
